Nearby: Souris
The town is named for the mice that came with early settlers ships. The town gained recognition
from American playwright Ekmer Harris's play "Johnny Belinda" which played on New York's Broadway for 320 performances.
The town supports a sport, commercial and lobster fishery, and the port offers ferry service to Quebec's Madgelen Islands from April to January.
