August's Egmont Bay and Mount Carmel Exhibition features Acadian handicrafts and
livestock. You can buy fresh lobster in season (August though October) right
off the dock at the Fishermen's Cooperative. While rumour has it pirate treasure may be buried here, none has yet been found.

Three distinctive houses, all built from more than 25,000 glass bottles. There is a chapel, a 6-gabled house and a third building, all on grounds with a rock garden and 70 varieties of flowers. Allow 30 minutes.
Open daily mid-May to mid-October; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in May and October 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in June and September 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in July and August. 2009 rates will be $6 for adults, $5.50 for seniors and $2 for children 6 - 16; family rate of $15 (maximum 2 adults).
