Aerobics
Put on runners and shorts and head to one of the many aerobics clubs and gyms, including the "Y" locations or one of the Leisure Centres.

Bicycling
Ride on the region's many bike paths along the Confedratino Trail. A number of organized

Gymnastics

Hiking
Hiking takes you into the world of nature. Reaching from island tip to island tip, the Condfederation Trail covers the backbone of the island. A number of spurs let you reach the sea in between. The trail bed is crushed stone with many points of access This trail is rated: Beginner and is open year round.
A variety of trails are also available 25 km north of Charlottetown, in Prince Edward Island National Park (902-566-7050.

Skates and a hockey stick is all you need to play hockey. Check with city rinks

Horseback Riding
PEI is horse country. you can rent a horse or learn to ride at several stables around PEI. If you want to do some riding, the Confederation Trail (TransCanada Trail) is a
good place to ride. If you need to rent a horse, try Rodd Brudenell River Resort by Cardigan

Martial Arts

Rugby

IN PEI, the only major hill is Brookvale (which also hosta an annual equipment

PEI Ski and Snowboard School is based in Charlottetwown. There are several ski hills in the Maritimes.
